GECPL is basically an EPC contractor engaged in Engineering, Procurement, Designing, and Construction & Consultancy services for water treatment and distribution systems. The Company also undertakes secondary activities. The company pursues projects on its own and through its group companies.

MAJOR PROJECTS

Augmentation of existing 155 MLD capacity Sewage Treatment Plant up to 255 MLD capacity including Upgradation of existing 155 MLD capacity Sewage Treatment Plant at Singanpore including design, Construction, erection, testing and commissioning and successive operation and maintenance for the period of 10 years under AMRUT Mission.
Total 24 nos. of Water Treatment Plants set up in time span of 16 years with capacity ranging from 1 MLD to 340 MLD.
Total 25-30 nos. of STPs set up in 16 years with capacity varying from 2.5 MLD to 120 MLD.
Power generation through anaerobic digestion of Sewage Sludge (120 MLD STP at HUDA and 120 MLD STP at Chennai)
The company is registered as Civil Contractor (Class 1) with various government Departments.
